Michael Jackson Booed At Comeback UK Show

Michael Jackson was booed by fans before his comeback UK performance at the World Music Awards last night (November 15).

Fans who had been waiting for hours to see the King of Pop were left disappointed and jeered him after he failed to greet them when he arrived.

When he did appear onstage at London’s Earls Court he only sang two choruses of We Are The World, marking his first British performance in nine years.

It had been reported that Jacko would perform a rendition of his classic hit ‘Thriller’, but he told reporters that the whole thing was a ‘misunderstanding.’

Jackson was awarded the Diamond Award on the night for achieving over 10million album sales in his career. Beyonce Knowles gave him the coveted award.

After receiving a standing ovation from the crowd, Jacko beamed: "I love you. God has answered my prayers.

"Thriller has become the biggest-selling album of all time. I love all the fans from the bottom of my heart. I love England."

Upon leaving, he was booed by a small section of the crowd who had expected him to put on a greater live show.
