Social Distortion Bassist Killed
Former Social Distortion bassist Brent Liles was hit by a truck and killed while riding his bike late last week, according to the OC Register. He was 43. Liles played bass on the group's groundbreaking "Mommy's Little Monster" recording in 1983 and went on to play with other well-known Orange County, California punk acts including Agent Orange.
The driver of the truck was not cited but and ivestigation is ongoing.
